SQL Database Architect

Job Summary:

The Database Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance database systems. This role ensures database solutions align with business needs and works closely with cross-functional teams to drive optimization and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable database architectures (SQL, NoSQL, cloud).

• Optimize performance through tuning, indexing, and partitioning.

• Ensure security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Mentor junior team members and lead database initiatives.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams on integration and strategy.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL.

• Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL).

• Strong SQL skills and optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and big data.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server), cloud (AWS, Azure), and performance tuning.
