Job Description– Senior Manager:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our auditing team as a Senior Manager to specialize in the domains of Audit and Accounts. The candidate should possess sufficient knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing standards and should be able to manage teams and review end-to-end audits, review preparation of financial statements, communicate audit results and findings to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1) End to end review and finalization of audits, including testing, and documentation, in accordance with applicable accounting & auditing standards and established procedures.
2) Analyze financial statements and other relevant data to identify potential audit issues.
3) Review of preparation of financial statements in accordance with the applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
4) Expert knowledge and experience of day-to-day book-keeping activities for the purpose of both accounting and auditing.
5) Develop and maintain relationships with clients, serving as a main point of contact throughout the service delivery.
6) Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to clients regarding their financial and operational processes.
7) Communicate audit results and findings to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
8) Continuously develop and train professional skills of the team through conducting ongoing training activities.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Qualified CA 5 years post qualification experience in an audit role, with experience in end-to-end auditing and FS preparation.
• In-depth expert knowledge and understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team of 4-6 members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Ability to train juniors to apply theoretical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards to practical tasks such as Accounting, FS Preparation, and end-to-end auditing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities – Must be able to analyse client issues, identify the root cause, and provide effective solutions.
Preferred skills:
• Operational Knowledge and hands-on working experience of CaseWare and Acquiri is a big plus.
• Operational Knowledge and hands-on working experience of any other accounting and audit documentation platform (like QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero, etc) would also be preferred.
