Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake, Cloud & Data Platforms

Role Overview:
We are looking for a senior data engineer to build and operate enterprise-grade data platforms using Snowflake and cloud-native services across AWS and Azure. This role is focused on hands-on delivery of governed, layered data pipelines supporting analytics and business use cases.
The engineer will work on structured data lifecycle patterns such as RAW, STG, OPS, and
MART, implementing rule-based transformations, validations, and reusable data assets aligned
with Data Fabric principles.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build and maintain Snowflake-centric data pipelines across cloud environments
● Design, build, and maintain Airflow DAGs to orchestrate data pipelines across ingestion, transformation, and publishing layers.
● Implement layered data models following RAW, STG, OPS, and MART patterns
● Develop rule-based transformations, validations, and enrichment logic using SQL and Python
● Design reusable and metadata-aware pipelines aligned with Data Fabric concepts
● Ingest and process data from multiple structured and semi-structured sources
● Work with cloud storage and processing services across AWS and Azure
● Ensure data quality, lineage, access control, and audit readiness
● Support analytics and reporting use cases with well-modeled data marts
● Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business rules into data logic
Must-Have Skills:
● 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer
● Strong experience with Snowflake, including transformations and performance tuning
● Advanced SQL and solid Python experience for data processing
● Experience implementing layered data architectures (RAW, STG, OPS, MART, or similar)
● Strong understanding of data warehousing and ELT concepts
● Hands-on experience authoring and operating Airflow DAGs for production data pipelines.
● Experience working in cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure)
● Ability to implement business rules, validations, and data quality checks
● Strong problem-solving skills and production support experience
Good-to-Have Skills
● Experience with Azure data services (ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Fabric, etc.)
● Exposure to Data Fabric or metadata-driven data platform concepts
● Experience with data governance, lineage, or catalog tools
● Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines
● Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
