Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer with over 4 years of hands-on experience implementing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong development skills on the Salesforce platform, in-depth understanding of CPQ configuration and rules, and a passion for solving complex quoting and pricing challenges in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and configure Salesforce CPQ solutions to support complex product catalog, pricing, and quoting scenarios.
● Customize CPQ functionality, including product bundles, price rules, quote templates, discount schedules, and contracting.
● Develop and maintain Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and SOQL/SOSL queries as needed.
● Build automations using Flows, Process Builder, and other declarative tools to streamline quoting processes.
● Work with cross-functional teams, including sales operations, product management, and finance, to gather requirements and implement scalable CPQ solutions.
● Perform data modeling, validation rule creation, custom object development, and advanced Salesforce configuration.
● Assist with data migration, testing, deployment, and production support of CPQ functionality.
● Ensure solutions are in compliance with Salesforce development best practices and governance standards.
● Participate in agile development and provide accurate effort estimates for development tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● 4+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 2–3 years in Salesforce CPQ.
● Strong understanding of CPQ data models, product configuration, pricing logic, and quote generation.
● Hands-on experience in Salesforce Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and custom metadata/types.
● Proficient in CPQ object model (Quote, Quote Line, Product Option, Price Rules, etc.).
● Familiarity with contract lifecycle, renewals, and amendments in CPQ.
● Experience with deployment tools like Change Sets, ANT, or Salesforce DX.
● Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification (preferred or in progress).
● Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (required).
