Job Description
Position:  Project Electrical Engineer
Location: Thane
Industry: Engineering Manufacturing
Educational Qualifications:  Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or relevant Engineering discipline.
Experience Required: 2+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Planning & Execution

  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements.
  • Plan installation sequences, tools, equipment, and manpower deployment.
  • Ensure installation is carried out as per manufacturer guidelines and approved project standards.
  •  Monitor installation activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety targets.

Commissioning & Testing

  • Perform pre-commissioning checks and readiness assessments.
  • Conduct functional, performance, and operational testing of systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues during start-up and optimize system performance.
  • Ensure systems achieve the designed operational parameters before handover.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain installation, commissioning, and test reports.
  • Maintain equipment manuals, commissioning checklists, and compliance documents.
  • Submit regular progress reports and highlight exceptions or risks to project management.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure installations comply with project specifications, client standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Adhere strictly to safety norms, site procedures, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections, approvals, and certifications.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors during installation and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and spares.
  • Work closely with internal project teams to achieve project milestones.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Provide on-site technical support during initial operations and stabilization period.
  • Identify root causes of technical issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support system handover and training of client operations and maintenance teams.

Continuous Improvement & Feedback

  • Recommend improvements to installation and commissioning methodologies.
  • Capture lessons learned and update project documentation for future reference.
  • Support standardisation and process improvements across projects.
Education 
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or relevant Engineering discipline.

Experience:

  • 3-8 years of experience in the installation and commissioning of industrial equipment/systems
  • Experience in EPC / manufacturing/process industry projects preferred
