Job Description
Position: PLC Automation Engineer
Industry: Industrial Manufacturing
Location: Thane
Educational Qualifications: BE Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication
Experience: 2+ Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop software for PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Provide on-site commissioning support.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Develop and maintain PLC logic programs.
- Provide remote support for site-related issues.
- Prepare and manage the IO list.
Key Tasks:
- Develop automation software logic using Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider platforms
- Design and develop SCADA screens using tools like WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware InTouch, or System Platform
- Develop and implement PLC programs
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms: Siemens / Rockwell / Schneider / Wonderware
- Knowledge of PLC programming languages: Ladder, STL, FBD, SCL (S88 standard preferred)
- Strong expertise in HMI and SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, InTouch, System Platform)
- Experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, and P&ID interpretation
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Industry 4.0, and IIoT platforms
- Understanding of server-client architecture, ESXi, and system architecture
- Knowledge of InBatch / RS Batch is an added advantage
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings and component identification
