CAD Engineer

Preparation of AutoCAD Drawings:

• Develop detailed plant layout drawings for upcoming strategic projects using AutoCAD.

• Create and modify mechanical, civil, electrical, and utility layouts in coordination with design and project teams.

Approval Drawings:

• Prepare drawings for internal and external approvals including regulatory and statutory authorities.

• Incorporate feedback and revisions from stakeholders for final submission.

BOQ (Bill of Quantities) Preparation:

• Extract accurate quantities from drawings for procurement and estimation purposes.

• Support the project planning and costing team with detailed BOQ documents for tenders and contracts.

Documentation Management:

• Support the setup of a new documentation cell in the record room.

• Organize, digitize, and maintain drawing and document archives for easy retrieval and compliance.

Conversion of Legacy Drawings:

• Digitize and convert old/manual drawings into AutoCAD format for standardization and archival.

• Ensure accuracy and adherence to current engineering and project standards.

Site Supervision:

• Provide on-site support during project execution, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for layout implementation and resolve any drawing-related issues on site.

Cross-functional Coordination:

• Liaise with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
