Technical Illustrator (Special Purpose Machine)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled technical illustrator with hands-on experience in Arbortext IsoDraw to create high-quality technical illustrations and documentation for heavy machinery and crane equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of CAD software, be detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create technical illustrations, schematics, and exploded views using Arbortext IsoDraw.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate CAD models (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.) into clear illustrations.

• Prepare illustrations for user manuals, assembly instructions, and maintenance guides.

• Ensure all illustrations adhere to company standards and technical accuracy.

• Handle projects independently, managing deadlines and deliverables efficiently.

• Support documentation teams with revisions and updates as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a technical illustrator or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Arbortext IsoDraw is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator.

• Basic knowledge of CAD software like Creo, SolidWorks, and PLM tools.

• Prior exposure to heavy machinery, cranes, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work independently.
