Placement Officer/HR Officer – Education

Job Overview

Looking for an experienced Placement Officer who can establish strong industry connections, bring industry projects to the college, and ensure placement opportunities for students. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with companies, identifying career opportunities, organizing campus recruitment activities, and preparing students for employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with companies, industries, and corporate organizations.
• Bring industry projects, internships, and live project opportunities for students.
• Develop and implement placement strategies to achieve student placement targets.
• Coordinate with HR teams, recruiters, and hiring managers for campus placements.
• Identify suitable job opportunities based on students’ qualifications, skills, and career interests.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, interviews, and placement activities.
• Coordinate with companies for recruitment requirements and share suitable student profiles.
• Prepare students for interviews through aptitude sessions, mock interviews, resume building, and soft skills training.
• Maintain placement records, student databases, company details, and placement reports.
• Develop industry partnerships and explore opportunities for training, internships, and collaborative projects.
• Track student placement progress and maintain relationships with placed students and recruiting companies.

Educational Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in any engineering discipline.
• MBA in Marketing, HR, or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in college placements, corporate relations, business development, recruitment, or industry partnerships.
• Experience in bringing industry projects, internships, and placement opportunities for students is essential.
