Assistant Professor – CS, IT & CTech

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced and qualified faculty members for our Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT) & CTech departments. The ideal candidate must have a strong academic background, a compulsory M.Tech qualification in the relevant discipline, and 7-8 years of teaching experience in an engineering college or equivalent academic institution.

The candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to mentor students while contributing to academic excellence and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students.
• Teach core subjects related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, based on departmental requirements.
• Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, assignments, and examination question papers.
• Conduct laboratory sessions and guide students in programming, technical projects, and practical applications.
• Mentor students on academic performance, technical skills, projects, internships, and career development.
• Guide student projects, research activities, technical competitions, and innovation initiatives.
• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, accreditation activities, and departmental meetings.
• Contribute to research papers, publications, conferences, workshops, and faculty development programmes.
• Support examination duties, student assessments, and other academic responsibilities.

Educational Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification: M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or a closely related specialization is mandatory.
• Undergraduate qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience Required

• 7-8 years of teaching experience in an engineering college or recognized academic institution.
• Experience teaching Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology subjects.
• Experience handling lectures, practical sessions, student projects, and academic assessments.
• Candidates with relevant research experience, publications, or academic contributions will be preferred.
