Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance function of a large and established business group.

The role will involve overseeing the existing finance team, ensuring strong financial controls and reporting, providing strategic finance inputs to the owner/promoters, and supporting financial decision-making across multiple business divisions/entities.

The position requires a confident, commercially aware, and digitally oriented finance professional who can effectively manage the finance function while also acting as a strategic finance partner to the promoters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts function.
• Guide and mentor the existing finance team.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, accounting, MIS, and financial reporting.
• Review P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow, and other key financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
• Handle and provide guidance on direct and indirect taxation matters.
• Evaluate the financial and taxation implications of business decisions.
• Provide strategic finance inputs to the owner/promoters.
• Consolidate and analyze financial information across multiple entities/divisions.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure strong financial controls, processes, and compliance.
• Work closely with business teams and senior management on finance-related matters.
• Lead, develop, and guide the finance team.
• Drive technology-enabled and digital finance processes.
• Leverage ERP systems for reporting, controls, and financial analysis.
• Keep the owner/promoters regularly informed about financial performance, risks, and important developments.
