Commercial Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare floor plans and space layouts to ensure proper space utilization and functionality.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, 3D views, and material selection boards.
• Prepare technical drawings and construction plans using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
• Select suitable furniture, lighting, materials, and finishes according to project requirements.
• Estimate project costs and ensure designs are completed within the approved budget.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors throughout the project.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure design quality.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
• Resolve design-related issues and help complete projects on time.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience in commercial interior design will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar design software.
• Understanding of space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and interior finishes.
• Knowledge of project budgeting, site execution, and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication, creativity, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of commercial building codes and safety standards.
• Relevant certifications in interior design or sustainable design will be an added advantage.
