SolidWorks Draftsman – Pump

• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD.
• Develop component, machining, fabrication, and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
• Modify existing designs based on engineering requirements and revisions.
• Machine Component & Pump Design:
• Work on machine components, assemblies, and pump-related components.
• Understand basic machine design concepts, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support the design team in developing accurate and manufacturing-friendly drawings.

Technical Drawings:

• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, surface finish, and other drawing specifications.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.
• BOM & Documentation:
• Prepare and update Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain design documentation.
• Update drawings and BOMs as per design changes and revisions.

Coordination:

• Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and other teams to resolve drawing and manufacturing-related issues.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing whenever required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• ITI candidates with strong relevant design/drafting experience may also be considered.

Technical Skills:

• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting and blueprints.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and assemblies.
• Understanding of machine components and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing drawings.
• Exposure to pump design or industrial equipment will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of BOM preparation is preferred.

Experience & Compensation:

• Candidates with relevant experience in machine component design and pump design will be preferred.
