Key Responsibilities:
- Programmed and commissioned Siemens (S7-1500, TIA Portal) and Rockwell ControlLogix PLC systems for batch, utility, and packaging operations.
- Designed and improved SCADA/HMI systems using WinCC, WinCC Unified, FactoryTalk View SE/ME for enhanced operator visibility.
- Ensured compliance with GMP, GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, maintaining validated control systems and supporting IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
- Integrated process equipment (mixers, reactors, CIP/SIP, HVAC, packaging lines) with PLC/SCADA for seamless control and monitoring.
- Conducted troubleshooting for PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, VFDs, and communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Profibus).
- Led automation upgrades and retrofits to reduce downtime by XX% and increase overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Implemented data logging and historian solutions for traceability and compliance reporting.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop FDS, FAT/SAT plans, and system documentation.
- Introduced predictive maintenance and IIoT solutions using sensor analytics and network monitoring.
- Trained operators and maintenance teams on system operation, troubleshooting, and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Practical experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
- SCADA/HMI development knowledge (e.g., Wonderware, WinCC, iFIX, etc.)
- Strong understanding of P& ID diagrams, control loops, and instrumentation.
- Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, VFDs, and panel design.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning or support.
