About the Role:
Senior SAP BASIS & BTP Platform Expert responsible for managing and optimizing SAP BTP environments, including account setup, service provisioning, connectivity, and performance monitoring. The role involves ensuring platform stability, security, and scalability, supporting key BTP services like Integration Suite, CALM, Datasphere, and SAC, while collaborating with development and architecture teams for seamless cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage SAP BTP accounts, directories, and subaccounts
Provision and support BTP services (Integration Suite, CALM, Datasphere, SAC, Build Workzone)
Ensure secure connectivity using Cloud Connector, VPN, and Private Link
Monitor system performance and optimize platform health
Troubleshoot and resolve BTP-related issues
Manage entitlements, quotas, and service instances
Implement security best practices (trust, destinations, principal propagation)
Automate operations using BTP CLI and APIs
Collaborate with development and architecture teams
Handle SAP BASIS and HANA database administration
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong expertise in SAP BASIS
Hands-on experience with the SAP BTP platform and services
Experience in cloud environments and connectivity setup
Knowledge of automation tools, scripting, APIs
10+ years overall IT experience with 8+ years in development/engineering
Proficiency in at least one or two programming languages
Bachelor’s Degree
