Architect Associate

• Provides direction and support to project teams by translating business capabilities into well-defined projects/programs with clear objectives and deliverables.
• Visualizes and communicates architecture concepts, principles, strategies, and models for programs, initiatives, and domains.
• Facilitates architecture discussions with cross-functional business sponsors and product lines to ensure alignment.
• Participates as a member or facilitator in relevant business/IT governance processes.
• Ensures alignment between architecture projects and standards and related IT projects and plans by working with appropriate IT and business management.
• Develops recommendations that will improve the business value of IT projects and plans.
• Sets direction and approves future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps for/across business functions.
• Drives architecture-related research to further mature architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps.
• Directs and approves innovations and/or prototypes based on research and approves recommendations on architecture, tools, methodologies, and/or processes.
• Facilitates architecture governance and ensures adherence to architecture standards.
• Obtains buy-in for architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints, and roadmaps from appropriate business and IT leaders.
• Promotes the benefits and value of architecture and architecture management to the business and IT senior management.
• Provides guidance on strategy and planning in support of overall prioritization and portfolio planning.
• The candidate will be a key driver in architecting and delivering high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions.

• He/She will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a product, from designing robust backend microservices and dynamic front-end experiences to managing production-grade deployments using Ford-standard security and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Python, Spring Boot, JavaScript, AI, API, GCP, Full Stack, Java
• Associate Exp: 5+ yrs of prog. Resp. in IT; at least 3 yrs in spec. domain
• Bachelor’s Degree
