Lead Project Manager

This is not a reporting-only project management role. This individual will function as:

• Delivery Leader for the India engineering team
• De facto Product Manager
• Senior Business Analyst
• Primary coordination bridge between Indian engineering and US leadership

This role requires maturity, structured thinking, strong communication, and deep ownership.

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring that product vision translates into clear requirements, that engineering executes efficiently, and that delivery timelines and quality standards are consistently met. You will work directly with US-based executives, product stakeholders, and healthcare clients, while leading day-to-day execution in India.

This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Leadership

• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
• Drive Agile execution with structured ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, planning)
• Ensure predictable delivery timelines.
• Identify risks early and proactively mitigate them.
• Track velocity, throughput, and delivery metrics
• Remove blockers for the engineering team.

You are accountable for execution quality and predictability.

2. Product & Requirements Ownership

• Gather business and clinical requirements from US stakeholders
• Translate healthcare workflows into clear functional requirements.
• Write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Create structured documentation (PRDs, functional specs, workflows)
• Break down complex initiatives into well-scoped deliverables.
• Ensure features are aligned with product strategy.

You must be comfortable asking hard clarification questions and pushing for clarity before development begins.

3. Healthcare Domain Translation

• Understand healthcare SaaS workflows (EMR/EHR, revenue cycle, digital health, sleep medicine, etc.)
• Translate regulatory and compliance considerations into product requirements.
• Ensure business logic is accurately captured in documentation.
• Act as a quality filter between clinical/business stakeholders and engineering

US healthcare exposure is highly preferred.

4. AI Feature Coordination

Since the platform includes AI-enabled features, you must:

• Work closely with engineering on AI-driven capabilities.
• Define expected AI behaviours and edge cases.
• Help scope AI feature releases incrementally.
• Ensure proper validation workflows are defined.
• Align AI functionality with real healthcare use cases

You do not need to code, but you must understand technical tradeoffs.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary coordination point between the US leadership and the India team
• Communicate project status clearly and concisely.
• Manage expectations proactively
• Run structured update meetings.
• Document decisions and maintain alignment

Strong spoken and written English is mandatory.

You must be fully comfortable presenting to US executives and clients.

6. Process & Operational Maturity

• Implement scalable delivery processes.
• Improve documentation standards
• Create structured reporting frameworks.
• Establish release readiness criteria.
• Introduce quality controls where needed

We are looking for someone who builds systems, not just manages tasks.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as:
• Project Manager and/or
• Senior Business Analyst and/or
• Product-focused delivery lead
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience working directly with engineering teams
• Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience with healthcare or healthcare SaaS strongly preferred
• US healthcare exposure is a major plus.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
