Lead Software Engineer—Full Stack & AI Agents

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Full Stack & AI Agents to design, build, and scale AI-native applications alongside modern full-stack systems. This role combines deep software engineering expertise with hands-on leadership in AI agent architecture and GenAI-driven development.

You will play a key role in building production-grade AI Agents, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and maintainability while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery. The position requires strong ownership, technical mentorship, and a high standard for both traditional engineering and AI-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

Core Engineering

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack web applications

• Architect backend systems with a focus on maintainability, observability, and performance

• Collaborate with Product, AI, and DevOps teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions

• Write clean, efficient, testable, and well-documented code

• Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices

• Lead by example through hands-on development and technical decision-making

AI Agents & Generative AI

• Design, build, and maintain AI Agents for real-world production use cases

• Work extensively with LangChain and LangGraph for multi-step, stateful, tool-enabled agent workflows

• Ensure high AI agent quality, including:

  • Response accuracy and relevance

  • Deterministic behavior is required

  • Guardrails, fallback mechanisms, and failure handling

  • Continuous evaluation, testing, and improvement

• Define best practices for prompt engineering, memory management, tool invocation, and agent supervision

• Integrate LLMs with APIs, databases, workflows, and external systems

Productivity & Engineering Excellence

• Leverage AI code-generation tools (Copilot, Cursor, GPT-based tools) to improve development speed

• Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure production-grade quality and security

• Identify technical risks early, especially in AI-driven systems, and propose effective solutions

• Mentor engineers in full-stack development and AI-native engineering practices

Required Skills & Experience

Frontend

• Strong experience with React.js or Vue.js

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript

Backend

• Strong proficiency in Python with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask

• Experience designing scalable backend services and APIs

AI & Agent Frameworks

• Hands-on experience with LangChain

• Experience with LangGraph or similar agent orchestration frameworks

• Proven experience building, testing, and deploying AI Agents

Databases & APIs

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)

Architecture & DevOps

• Solid understanding of system design, microservices, and modular architectures

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git

• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure

Problem Solving & Quality

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a first-principles mindset

• High focus on quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability, especially for AI systems

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with LLM / AI agent evaluation frameworks

• Exposure to Kubernetes or serverless architectures

• Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence
