We are hiring a skilled Utility Estimation & Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in utility costing, tendering, and design coordination for industrial utility systems such as Boilers, Chillers, Air Compressors, Water Treatment Systems, and HVAC Utility Integration.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and compliance with industrial standards such as GMP and ISO. The role involves working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate project costing and cost optimization for Utility Projects across Pharma, Food, and Chemical plants.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for utilities—Boilers, Chillers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, WTP/RO/DM Plants, Steam & Utility Piping.
Analyze tender documents, P&IDs, layouts, and utility schematics.
Perform rate analysis for materials, fabrication, and subcontracting.
Review utility designs, pipeline sizing, load calculations, and fuel consumption.
Support value engineering and optimize utility equipment selection.
Coordinate with utility equipment vendors (Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, RO, WTP).
Prepare vendor comparison sheets and techno-commercial evaluations.
Negotiate pricing and technical specifications.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, tender documentation, and bid submissions.
Attend pre-bid meetings and client discussions.
Provide technical clarifications and support the sales/proposal team.
Track cost deviations and support management in cost control.
Prepare MIS reports, cost tracking dashboards, and estimation audits.
Coordinate with Design, Projects, and Procurement teams for accurate estimations.
Maintain costing records, documentation, and reference databases.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation-related tools/software.
