Business Development (Manager / Sr. Manager) (Fintech / Payment Gateway)

Position Title: Business Development (Manager / Sr. Manager) (Fintech / Payment Gateway)
Experience Required: 3 to 10 Years (in Payments, Fintech, SaaS, or Banking domain)

Locations: Bangalore, Mumbai, and Goa

Industry: Fintech / Payments / SaaS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive B2B sales of payment/fintech products and onboard enterprise merchants

  • Strategize and implement go-to-market plans for in-house financial tech products

  • Build new client relationships and manage key accounts for revenue growth

  • Monitor and improve sales KPIs, pipeline efficiency, and conversion ratios

  • Collaborate with internal teams for marketing, product, and operational coordination

  • Understand and comply with industry regulations like RBI norms, PCI-DSS, Escrow/Nodal

  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in existing accounts

  • Lead/mentor a sales team (based on performance and role level)

Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of fintech/payment gateway/SaaS sales

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Strong client handling and enterprise solutioning ability

  • Data-driven decision-making and CRM usage

  • Knowledge of MCC, compliance frameworks, escrow/nodal accounts is preferred

Preferred Background:

  • Worked in Tier-1 fintech companies, payment gateways, or private banks (e.g. Razorpay, PayU, Paytm, HDFC, ICICI, etc.)

  • Experience in sales, account management, and strategy roles

  • Passion for working in high-growth startup environments

Education:
Graduation Mandatory; MBA/PGDM Preferred
