Position Name: Jr. Associate – Lab
Experience: 2+ Years
Location: Visakhapatnam (Vizag)
Industry: Metal Manufacturing Industry.
Mandatory Requirements:
Any graduate/diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience in refractories/material science/science.
Job Profile
1. Conducting tests as per SOP.
2. Maintaining the test register along with the results.
3. Standardization of the lab as per Elkem standards, upkeep, and calibration of all measuring equipment.
4. Proper maintenance of the equipment and upkeeping of proper logs for the equipment usage.
5. Perform process audits as per the control plan
6. Responsible for all raw material and product tests in the lab as per stipulated standards.
7. Upkeeping, calibration, and maintenance of all the lab equipment.
8. Maintaining and updating the lab trial records.
9. Ensuring EHS and EBS compliance in the refractory lab.
10. Keeping a record of raw material usage and updating material stock
11. Conducting a process audit in the manufacturing plant
12. Responsible for lab activity as per Elkem EHS standards and ensuring zero work-related or environment-related hazards or incidents.
