Position: Power BI Architect

Location: Nagpur & Pune

Experience Required: 8+ Years

Industry: IT Service/Consultant

Responsibilities:

 Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

 Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI

 Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor them

 Analyze data and present it through reports that support decision-making

 Convert business requirements into technical specifications and set timelines for delivery

 Create relationships between data and develop tabular/multidimensional models

 Document charts, algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships

 Demonstrate proficiency in Analysis Services – building Tabular & Multidimensional models (OLAP, Cubes) over DW/DM/DB

 Write complex DAX and MDX queries

 Design and guide BI-related IT architecture in existing or new landscapes, ensuring compliance with standards

 Provide blueprinting, gather requirements, and roll out BI solutions to end-users

 Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models

 Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts with advanced analytics

 Analyze current ETL processes and define improvements

 Contribute to data warehouse development using SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS

 Redefine and implement strategic improvements to current BI systems

 Create custom charts and calculations based on user requirements

 Design and deploy business intelligence solutions that meet evolving organizational needs

 Use SQL queries, filters, and graphs to enhance data comprehension

 Collaborate with users and teams at all levels to drive continuous improvement

Required Skills:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

 Minimum of 6 years of experience in visual reporting and dashboard development

 At least 6 years of hands-on Power BI development experience

 Strong expertise in SQL Server

 Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

 High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
